Bahkan Bersepeda -pun Pakai Rumus ..!!!

Pernah terlintas di pikiran kita ga kalo kita dulu belajar mengendarai sepeda pake rumus matematika dan fisika..???
Weleh...weleh....
Jangankan berpikir untuk membuat rumus matematika mengendarai sepeda, belajar bersepeda aja dah susah untuk pertama kalinya... hehehe. Yah itu kan aku aja yg kurang "cerdas".... huehehe.

Ternyata mengendarai sepeda mempunyai rumus matematika tertentu.

Model Sepeda Masa Depan..!!

Light Saber, Now are not just in Movie anymore

Pedang Cahaya Tidak Lagi hanya ada dalam Pilem Star Wars aja, telah hadir sekarang Spyder III Pro Arctic laser, buatan WickedLasers.

With recent advances in lasers, many have fantasized about creating "real life lightsabers". Many military commanders have fantasized about creating portable blasters along the lines of those portrayed in fictional workers like Star Trek and Star Wars. The Spyder III Pro Arctic laser from WickedLasers can be seen perhaps as the culmination of those efforts and perhaps the first consumer laser weapon.

(..inga'...inga...'...!!!)

Warning:
Extremely dangerous is an understatement to the power of 1W of laser power. It will blind permanently and instantly and set fire quickly to skin and other body parts, use with extreme caution and only when using the included eye protection. Customers will be required to completely read and agree to our Class IV Laser Hazard Acknowledgment Form.

Hypersonic Glider Sets a World Record of Mach 20

Rekor Dunia Kendaraan Tercepat 20x Kecepatan Suara di pecahkan oleh Hypersonic Glider.

On Tuesday the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) tested a new design, the HTV-2. The HTV-2 is classified as a hypersonic glider. To get it up to its extreme target speed of Mach 20, it is first launched to the edge of space aboard a Minotaur IV Lite solid fuel rocket.
Craft is being designed to strike enemies in far away regions like the Middle East in under an hour.

Bayangkan AS menembak sasaran sejauh separuh bumi (dibalik dunia) dalam waktu 1 jam...!! Apalagi jika membawa Hulu Ledak Nuklir...!!

Ngelu deeeeh.........

Adobe Flash Vs Microsoft Silverlight

Director of Developer Platform Marketing, Brian Goldfarb, and Adobe's Director of Technology Strategy, Anup Murarka, recently participated in an interview together about their competing rich web formats and what the future holds. Currently, Microsoft's Silverlight and Adobe's Flash both are well entrenched, with a legion of developers sitting on each side of the fence. However, Microsoft and Adobe are both warily eyeing HTML5, an open standard that could unravel support for their proprietary platforms.

Ngebayangin pake 48-Core Processor

Dah capek nulis pake bahasa daerah, kalian baca sendiri aja neh kali aja lebih ngerti.

Intel Demonstrates 48-Core "Single-Chip Cloud Computer"

Intel calls its new 48-core IA32 processor a "single-chip cloud computer" (SCC) because of the way it resembles cloud datacenters, claiming that it "rethinks many of the approaches used in today's designs". The SCC consists of 24 "tiles", with two IA32 cores and a router per tile creating a mesh network with 256GB/s of bandwidth.

Each tile (2 cores) can run at its own independent frequency, and groupings of four tiles (8 cores) can each run at their own voltage. The SCC can run all 48 cores at one time over a range of 25W to 125W and is capable of selectively varying the voltage and frequency of the mesh network as well. The SCC also features four integrated memory controllers capable of addressing 64GB of DDR3 DRAM, and was built on Intel's current 45nm high-K metal gate process.

Cloud datacenters currently run most of the internet, and can use tens of thousands of computers connected by a physically cabled network. They are capable of distributing large datasets and working them in parallel. The SCC uses a similar approach, with all the parts integrated on a single 567mm2 chip, which is approximately the size of a postage stamp.

"With a chip like this, you could imagine a cloud datacenter of the future which will be an order of magnitude more energy efficient than what exists today, saving significant resources on space and power costs," said Justin Rattner, the head of Intel Labs and Intel's Chief Technology Officer.

Sony OLED HDTVs

Sony says OLED HDTVs could see America stores this year depending on Japanese demand

Many home theater enthusiasts have high hopes for OLED technology -- hopes that not only will OLED HDTV sets require less power but that they also will be significantly thinner and provide better color reproduction and image quality.

Engadget is reporting that Sony Electronics President Stan Glasgow revealed in talks this morning with journalists at the Sony Club in New York that, “OLED could come (to the U.S.) before the end of the year." The catch is that OLED HDTVs coming to America is dependent on the demand in Japan and panel supply. In other words if Sony’s OLED XEL-1 is a big hit in Japan, we won’t be seeing them this year in America.

Sony announced its 3mm thick XEL-1 OLED HDTV almost exactly one month ago to lustful stares from home theater fans around the world. The screen size was small at 11-inches and the price was high at about $1744 USD. The Sony XEL-1 OLED TV left many outside Japan reaching for their wallets only to be told the TV wasn’t available outside Japan.

There have been several other announcements in the OLED arena recently with Toshiba announcing that it would have 30-inch OLED HDTVs on the market by 2009. Toshiba, however, stated that the problem with OLED technology was that the method for producing the OLED panels was immature accounting for the increased cost and longer lead times before panels were available.

Just last week Samsung’s Executive Vice President and CTO, Ho Kyoon Chung, unveiled its roadmap for OLED products. Samsung expects to have 40 to 42-inch OLED panels on the market by 2010.

While Toshiba and Samsung make promises to get OLED HDTVs into the hands of consumers, Sony is actually doing it.

Tiny chips flash memory advance

Samsung flash chip
Flash memory chips are used in MP3 players and digital cameras
Electronics giant Samsung has shown off what it claims is the world's most powerful chip for use in memory cards.

The 64 gigabit (Gb) chips could be used to make 128 gigabyte memory cards, commonly used in MP3 players, capable of holding the equivalent of 80 DVDs.

The chips are built using circuits with a minimum feature size of just 30 billionths of a metre (nanometre).

Rival firm Toshiba has said it is also working with similar technology. Both firms will release products in 2009.

Flash advance

Flash memory is a so-called non-volatile computer memory, primarily used in memory cards, USB drives and MP3 players.

Non-volatile memory retains information even when there is no power to the device.

Samsung said there was currently "exploding demand" for flash memory as a storage medium in a range of applications.

The new chips are designed to be used in a specific type of memory known as NAND flash.

NAND is one of two types of flash memory and offers higher storage and faster speeds than the cheaper NOR flash.

NOR is commonly used in low-end applications where smaller memory capacity and slower speeds are acceptable, such as in cheaper mobile phone handsets.

Samsung has said that a single chip could be used in an MP3 player capable of holding 18,000 songs.

Combining 16 chips would allow 128GB devices, the company said, making Flash a rival to hard drives.

"This has the biggest storage capacity of a single memory chip ever developed in the world," Kwon Hyosun of the firm told AFP.

Toshiba announced its plans to use 30nm technology earlier this month.

"Our goal is to gain an edge over rivals by supplying the most advanced chips before anyone else," a spokeswoman for Toshiba said at the time.

Sony T2 Comes with a Whopping 4GB of Internal Memory

With point and shoot models overcrowding the market, Sony's new T2 is offering a feature that will certainly appeal to a large number of consumers. The Cybershot T2 has no less than 4GB of internal memory, more than most users will ever need. Regular point and shoot cameras have about 16MB or 32MB of internal memory, but Sony's T2 model probably sets a new record with the 4GB.

Moreover, the unit comes with an Album function for automatically indexing and arranging the images. The T2 has a Carl Zeiss 3x optical zoom lens and 8.1 megapixels of resolution, from this point of view, the unit being a classical point and shoot model. Moreover, the model comes with a large 2.7-inch Clear Photo touchscreen display.

In a way, it's a good thing that the T2 only has 8.1 megapixels, as opposed to the latest 12MP competitors, since small sensors in cameras such as this one have a better performance with fewer photosites.

On the other hand, the lens is not such a stellar display of advanced technology. The Carl Zeiss has a 3x optical zoom with a focal range of 38-114mm and a disappointing maximum aperture ranging from f/3.5 to f/4.3. It would have been nice to be able to open up the aperture to f/2.8, at least at the wide end.

This is compensated by Sony with the Super SteadyShot optical stabilization technology that allows for slower than recommended shutter speeds to be used.

Other features include Sharemark technology and Picture Motion Browser Portable software for easy blogging and web uploads, Full HD output and PhotoTV HD display mode, on-screen ‘scrapbook’ photo arrangements, an all-metal body and ISO ranges from 80 to 3200. Don't forget the slightly ridiculous "smile shutter", which "automatically detects and captures a person smiling without the need to press the shutter". Sony says that "if there are several people in the frame, you can select the primary subject for the camera to watch by touching the screen. A sequence of up to six smiling shots can be taken without the need to manually press the shutter."

The Cyber-shot T2 will be available starting December 2007 for around $350.

Hitachi Introduces World's Most Energy-efficient Desktop HDDs

Hitachi goes very green by implementing features to greatly reduce hard disk drive power consumption in the latest Deskstar line

It's rare to find hard disk drive manufacturers focusing on anything other than increasing the speed and capacity of its products because those are the two features consumers look for in hard disk drive products. Hitachi has taken another approach to improving its hard drives by developing drives with reduced power consumption; specifically up to a 40 percent decrease in consumption.

Hitachi introduced the Deskstar P7K500 line of desktop hard disk drives today which contain a number of technologies to reduce power consumption. The first technology Hitachi has implemented in the P7K500 line is the HiVERT technology for a more efficient conversion of voltage. This technology has been borrowed from the Travelstar line of laptop drives along with the more power-efficient profile which allows the drive to handle power saving features better than traditional desktop drives and more like today's mobile drives.

Hitachi has also implemented its Advanced Power Management capabilities which have given the Deskstar line more efficient power handling when idle for generations now. The last feature is Hitachi's patented load/unload technology explained below:

  • Unload idle – The heads are safely unloaded to the ramp and the servo is shut off; this mode delivers power savings of 11 percent better than idle mode.
  • Low RPM idle – The heads are safely unloaded to the ramp, the servo is shut off and the spindle motor RPM is reduced; this setting achieves power savings of 44 percent better than idle mode.
The Deskstar P7K500 line will come in capacities of 250GB, 320GB, 400GB, and 500GB. The technical details are listed below.

Hitachi plans to launch the new P7K500 line during this last quarter of 2007 in mass quantities. Pricing information has not yet been released but we're thinking numbers won't be too much higher than current Deskstar models with similar capacities.
