One of the most puzzling and famous life questions has stumped people for generations. It's the question of which came first: the chicken or the egg? In order for there to be an egg, a chicken would have had to lay it. In order for there to be a chicken, it would have had to hatch from an egg.
Dr. Colin Freeman from Sheffield University along with colleagues from Warwick University have figured it all out. Their research project originally aimed to figure out how animals make eggshells because it's an extraordinarily strong yet lightweight material that no human has been able to replicate, and the researchers hoped to learn how to develop a manmade equivalent by learning about the way animals make eggshells.
Chickens were chosen as their test subjects simply because the protein was easy to study. The study began when Freeman and his colleagues used the UK Science Research Council's super-computer called HECToR (High End Computing Terascale Resource), which is based in Edinburgh. The "ingredients" used to make eggshells were programmed into HECToR, and that was it. The computer was left to produce results on its own, and it took weeks for HECToR to figure out how chickens make eggshells.
When HECToR finally arrived at a conclusion, the researchers were stunned when they realized that they had solved the age old question. After years and years of debate, it was finally determined that the chicken came before the egg.
What they found was a protein, called ovocledidin-17 (OC-17), that exists only in a chicken's ovaries and is vital to eggshell formation in chickens. The protein acts as an ongoing builder that pieces microscopic parts of the shell together by converting calcium carbonate into calcite crystals. The shell would not exist without this protein, which only exists in chickens, so the end result is that the chicken came first.
In addition to answering the question that has burdened the human race for ages, the results of this study could be advantageous in the medical field since human bones and teeth are made in a similar way as eggshells. This could lead to a better understanding of how to rebuild human bones. Also, the study could help figure out how crystal structures can be made and destroyed (since the eggshells are made up of microscopic crystals). Learning how this can be done could lead to the elimination of limescale crystals on pipes and kettles.

This Time Headache Mode is real ON !!
Arrrgggghhhhh....!!!!

Tonight is one of my "aaarrrghhh..." night.
Theres 3 computers won't work.
One is stuck in the lock bar in the wall.
The other 2 is under my reparation.
There's a strange behaviour with this 2 PC.
When I replace the VGA and the PSU, they can work properly
(on my work desk).
But when I put it back to their ussual desk,..
it's starting to have strange behaviour again...
sometimes it act normal...
when get restart/reboot, they wont switch ON properly.
The Other one operate so f*c**n' slowly...
While the other one ..... DEAD ...!!!
this night I cant repair it, too much works on saturday night.
They have to wait until tomorrow.
Hope I cant find what's the source of the problem.
Right now I suspicious that the electricity was not proper or not stabil.
Well never give up, but it get my lazy point....

Morning Musume in Japan Expo 2010
Morning Musume, one of the most popular japanese singers in japan. Have scheduled to participated in Japan Expo 11th in Paris, France.

Sebenarnya artikel ini sudah aku buat kemaren2, tapi baru publish sekarang.
Saat pertama baca blog dari anggota S/mileage yaitu dari Fukuda Kanon dan Wada Ayaka, aku menemukan hal unik, yaitu
“bahkan orang jepang sendiri bisa salah menulis kanji”.
S/mileage adalah Grup Penyanyi dari Jepang yang terdiri dari 4 anggota yaitu: Wada Ayaka (Leader), Yuuka Maeda, Fukuda Kanon dan Saki Ogawa.
Di salah satu acara mereka masing-masing menerima beberapa lembar kertas bertulisan (kita anggap dokumen resmi aja ^_^). Di salah satu sudut dokumen tersebut di tuliskan/dicetak nama mereka. Nah yang menjadi hal menarik adalah 2 diantara mereka menemukan bahwa nama mereka di cetak dengan cara yang salah.
Di Jepang, sepertinya sudah menjadi aturan umum bahwa dalam suatu dokumen, maka kebanyakan menggunakan bahasa yang resmi. Kecuali jika mereka menulis email ato surat kepada teman ato sodara, maka lebih umum menggunakan bahasa gaul tak resmi. Demikian juga penulisan nama, lebih umum memakai Kanji. Baru kalau ada tujuan khusus untuk membedakan 1 nama dengan nama lain yang sama tapi beda orang dapat menggunakan Kana, (utk nama serapan dari bahasa asing umum menggunakan Katakana).
Wada Ayaka dan Fukuda Kanon menerima tulisan yang mereka anggap salah. Dan hal ini membuat mereka tertawa, seperti pada poto yang mereka ambil ini:

tetapi di tulis ふくだ きゃのん

(Wada Ayaka, hiragana: わだ あやか)

(mungkin maksudnya Wada "sang Pemimpin"("riidaa"=leader),
